Whether you're hitting the road to visit family for holidays, catching a red-eye for an important meeting, or setting off to explore somewhere new, being away from home comes with its share of unpredictability. Being prepared means knowing you have reliable protection behind you, like MASA. When life throws the unexpected your way, having safeguards in place can make all the difference.
Confirming your MASA membership details can save you time, stress, and money if the unexpected happens while you’re away from home.
Here’s how to hit the road with confidence and ensure you’re getting the most from your membership benefits.
MASA is designed to protect you from the out-of-pocket costs associated with emergency medical transport, as well as other support services and guidance, depending upon your specific plan. Before you go, it’s helpful to see what resources are available to you and where they extend.
For example, when your plan includes repatriation, and you need continued in-patient care after an emergency, we can provide coordination services and take care of the expenses for medical transport to a healthcare facility near your home.
We also offer features like minor child return transportation and pet return transportation, which can provide coordination assistance and offset expenses for the return of your child or pet safely home, if you are hospitalized due to a medical emergency.
