We’ve compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions — from how our membership plans work to what to do during an emergency. Common questions for activating MASA while away from standard protection area

For most plans, the standard protection area for MASA includes the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean (excluding Cuba), the Bahamas, and Bermuda. Please check your MASA membership plan document to confirm if you have international coverage. If you are outside these areas, you must submit an itinerary to MASA 10 days before your trip. By submitting an itinerary, you activate worldwide protection for world medical transportation, pursuant to your Member Services Agreement. This allows us to prepare our staff and resources for the possibility of an emergency in those areas.

You can send us your travel itinerary in any of the following ways:

  1. Email your itinerary to travel@masaglobal.com.
  2. To log in to the member portal, click on “Members” in the upper right corner of the header, register as a user or log in to your account, and submit your itinerary.

Please include the below in your itinerary submission:
– Your name
– Your MASA plan number
– Date of departure & date of return
– Where you are traveling to
