With our Hospital Visitor Ground Transport Protection benefit, MASA helps offset the cost of getting someone to your side when you need them. We’ll reimburse up to $200 in eligible expenses for a visitor’s parking, taxi, or ride-share services (like Uber or Lyft) to visit you while you’re admitted to the hospital following a serious emergency.
This benefit applies to emergencies that occur within the United States and is designed to support a local person visiting you. It’s limited to two reimbursements per consecutive 12-month period, beginning from your plan’s effective date.
To qualify, the visit must be associated with an inpatient hospital stay and supported by appropriate documentation, such as receipts for parking or ride-share expenses.
